RM-Terex Ships Premium Amphibious ATVs to Middle East

Zavolzhye, December 14, 2015 – RM-Terex (part of Russian Machines Corporation managing the machine building assets of the Basic Element, a diversified industrial group) has delivered premium BOBR and IRBIS amphibious all-terrain tracked vehicles to Middle East
 
RM-Terex has shipped four premium BOBR and IRBIS vehicles manufactured by Zavolzhsky Crawler Vehicle Plant (ZZGT, CJSC) to Middle East.
 
The amphibious ATVs have been tailor-made for a private customer with leather-trimmed interiors and stainless steel steps, roof rack, exhaust pipe, and hand rails.
 
Ergonomic air-suspension seats ensure an absolute comfort for the driver and front passenger. The passenger bench seats can be easily transformed.
 
Climate control system maintains comfortable environment inside the vehicle at -50 to +50°C ambient. The ATVs feature the additional interior noise and vibration insulation, powerful multimedia system with a touch-screen display, navigation system, rear view camera, and light-emitting diode (LED) exterior lighting. LED spotlight remotely controlled from the driver’s seat is indispensable when travelling off-road at nighttime.
The vehicles are powered by reliable diesel turbocharged engines employing a push-button start technology and offering 122 and 131 hp.  Wear-resistant rubber-jointed tracks ensure extended service life and exceptional off-road performance.
 
The vehicles are engineered to cross water bodies with a speed of up to 6 km/h using tracks for propulsion and provide failure free operation in the mountains at altitudes of over 4.5 thousand meters.
