10 September 2016

Irkutsk, September 10, 2016 – RM-Terex (a part of Russian Machines Corp. which manages machine-building assets of the diversified industrial Basic Element Group) provided Ecological Marathon 360 Minutes for the Sake of Baikal held by En+ Group with its machinery.

RM-Terex with assistance of its official dealer – Karyernye Mashiny took first-ever part in environmental campaign exercised by En+ Group – 360 Minutes for the Sake of the Baikal Lake. To support the ambitious environmental project RM-Terex gave its backhoe-loader TLB 825, effective & quick in any types of loading operations. The participants used the BHL to remove garbage from some coastal territory of Baikal.

For a few years now TLB 825 has been enjoying steady demand among Russian enterprises as one of the most functional & efficient. E.g., the housing & utility sector actively uses the BHL to remove snow or construction waste, make open trenches for utilities. The specs of the machine and the attached implements significantly expand the range of use. The design performance totals approx. 1,400 c.m. per shift. The load limit is 3.5 t. The dumping height is up to 3.6 m. The model fully complies with all environmental standards active on the territory of Russia.

Christian Kremer, CEO, RM-Terex:

- Environmental policy is a top-priority of RM Corp. and RM-Terex in particular. A whole series of environmental projects are annually executed by our plants. It has to do with upgrading of casting, solid-waste recycling, rehabilitating of water treatment facilities. All our products are designed & engineered following environmental compliance, motor graders & excavators of the new generation are equipped with YaMZ engines which meet the advanced environmental standards. However, it’s the first time we’ve participated in such a large-scale environmental project like 360 Minutes for the Sake of Baikal. It's important for us that it is here, on the shores of a largest lake, we've made our contribution to preservation of international environmental assets. The 360 Min project is becoming more and more ambitious, volunteers’ efforts need more mechanical aids, and in future years we’ll be glad to once again support our colleagues from En+ Group, and provide our machinery for the ecological marathon.
